help connecting modulator line from tranny to manifold/carb

I have a Chevy 350 with a Performer RPM manifold and TH350 tranny. When I first purchased the 77' Camaro, it had an Eldebrock carb on it. The carb and motor were trashed because a lot of water had made it's way into them.

After rebuilding another 350 as well as the tranny, I am slowly working towards connecting the last few items.

I replaced the Eldebrock with a Holley Street Avenger 670. The rear of the carb hangs so far back that it is over the top of the hole in the manifold where the fitting goes that the modulator line from the tranny connects. My question is whether I can just cap off this hole in the manifold with a plug and connect the modulator line from the tranny to someplace on the carb. If so, where?

I appreciate your assistance.

You can tee off the vacuum port thats under the primary fuel bowl on the passenger side coming out of the base plate. That's full time vacuum.

Or, you can do what I did and install a 1" spacer under the carb. if you have room under the hood.

I've been looking at the 670cfm let me know how you like it ok?
