Somewhere on the fuel rail there (should) be schrader valve that you can check for pressure with. You can have someone turn the key to the run position while pressing the valve in. If gas only gurgles out, chances are it's the pump. If it sprays out like a geyser, you have good pressure, but maybe not enough flow, indicating the filter as a possible culprit. Should still start however and just lack power if it seems to have good pressure, but the filter is suspect. This is just a quick test to determine a possible fuel problem. It's not gonna eliminate it completely without a pressure guage. But if the fuel only gurgles or dribbles out, you know it's fuel delivery at fault.
Of course check it for spark too.
