help with head choice

I could use some opinions on an engine combo mainly in the heads. The bottom end is a 355 chevy 9.7:1@72cc pistons.I havent purchased a cam yet but looking at the comp.cams hyd. roller # 12-422-08.The Airflow Reasearch 180cc looks good, just would like some input from you folks that might be more knowlegable,as I am a novice builder. The engine is going into a jeep with a 4.88 gear 2100 stall and 38.5 tsl. The use will be street and trail and some time at the local mud races"on top of the ground".sorry for the long post just trying to cover all the bases.Thnx for any help.Joe

I would go with AFR's. They are around $1,250 for a set, but that is with CNC porting. You would probably spend around $900 for a set of unported aluminum heads from another company, then you would have to spend another $600-$800 in porting to get them to perform like a set of CNC'd AFRs.
