Help ID old Ford Intake and Glass Holley Carb

Hey Im not a ford guy - and I havent been around long enough to figure this out so -
I found an Old Holley one Barrel Carb with a Glass Bowl on it Looks pretty killer - Im curious to know its origin. it has a number or two on the face by the fuel line connection (EBP-9510-A, below it...LIST 800) and a number on what looks like the choke which is 25R-161 and then on the bottom of the float bowl it has 6R-931-B. it Also has HOLLEY written in the Glass Bowl.

Also I found a old squarish flat looking intake for a 8 cylinder it has a 2 barrel carb that looks like a single had the ford logo on it and it has the stamp ECW9425-A on the rear of it. water pump hole or something is center front located.one the bottom is a tag with raised 60W or M09 depending how you look at it - also a number 5 towards the back

I will try to get a pic posted if I can - I know some of you could lead me to a source or even tell me without seeing so I thought I would ask - thanks

r4r

carb - 1955-57 ford/mercury truck w/223CID engine. They're cool looking, but not worth much - about $115.00 CAD rebuilt.

what would the darn thing be worth if it needs built? its by no means ready to go - any idea? 40$ i might put it on ebay but it would make a pretty cool paperweight if it was cleaned up

thanks

The core charge for this jewel is about $25.00 CAD. A rebuild kit is about $28.00 CAD. Someone restoring might be interested, otherwise, I'd keep it. It's kind of an oddball.

It couldn't be a carb for a 223 six, they only had one barrels and he also said that it was on an 8 cylinder manifold. It sounds like an old Y-block intake and probably pre '56-'57, a picture would settle it...but IT IS NOT off a 223, sorry guys.

You must be overworked again Woodz. He is describing two different items.

so....

do we have a verdict? my conclusion is its a waste of space - but i would like to verify it at least... - the intake and carb that is.. if anyone has a truck to match this i would be glad to ship the carb and intake your way for shipping costs only so you can sand blast it and have it for memorbilia... I was soooooooooo close to having a bottle jack for this old thing and watched the frame get chopped up - whopty doo there, but the jack was mint - it was way cool with its stamps and screw up lift lol.... anyways yea someone tell me the specs on this junk so i can find a ford freakthat wants it.... or PM me and claim it paypal is fine , R4R

Carb EBP is a 223 I6 54/ Car And Light Truck

Intake ECW is a 1956 Truck 272 HD Y-BLOCK

I would list them on E-BAY instead of pitching them.

carb debacle

If I was in your shoes and have the 223 six and its in good running condition, I would opt for a carter one barrel off of a Ford 300 six. A wee bit larger, and a more refined carb to boot.
