Help Id this rear end

I bought a rear end for my 52 Chevy 1/2 ton a few years back, and forgot what had bought. I know it's a 10 bolt, but I cannot figure out the stamp on the tube.

2PJ G025 2

Thanks for any help

Got a picture? What is the over all width of the rear end where the wheels mount? Does it have any brackets on it?

This is a '76 or later GM rear end. Judging by the spring perch location I'm going to say that it's a Camaro or Firebird 8.5 10 bolt. Measure the total width of the rear end where the wheels bolt on. If it's 61 inches it's a F body Camaro Firebird rear end. If it's 60 inches it's a X body Nova, Omega, Ventura Apolo rear end. What I find on the code is '78 F body with 2.41 gears and standard differential.

Those look like mono leaf spring perches
Most mono leaf rear ends were 8.2 10 bolt

8.2 10 bolt takes a 1 1/8 socket on the pinion nut
and has u-bolt u-joint retainers

8.5 10 bolt take a 1 1/4 socket on the pinion nut
and takes flat strap with separate bolt u-joint retainers

Those are multi leaf perches. This is a '76 or later rear end because it has the 3R yoke. The '71 to '75 8.5 rear ends had a 1310 yoke which used the old external retainers with the tabs in the yoke to center the u joint. The '76 and later 8.5 used the 3R yoke which has internal retainers and no tabs in the yoke. This is not the 8.2 rear end.
