Help with identifying this car
Hello all, I am very, very, new and admit to not knowing much or even enough about hot rods other than what my dad & brother have shown me at local car shows...
That being said, I have a Christmas present gone-wrong here and I need to know if anyone can help me identify this car. Basically the company I ordered the print from has shipped me the incorrect print TWICE now and the correct one may not arrive in time for Christmas. So I want to at least be able to identify what I have so when I give it it wont be a total disaster. thank you |

The car is a 26-27 Ford Model T Roadster with an inline 6 cylinder engine, possibly an aircraft engine, and some form of front drive supercharger induction system fed by 4 2bbl carburetors, probably Stromberg 97s with custom tops. The front end is 32-34 Ford with a dropped axle and 40-48 hydraulic brakes. The frame is a modified 32 Ford. The rearend is early Ford as well.
It is probably a lakes racer and is shown without the "nose" sheet metal which would streamline it quite a bit. |

I visited VintageArte where your print comes from and was surprised there is absolutely no picture information.
Least they could do, and send the right print out. |

Most auto art photography sites I have visited have incorrect descriptions on a large number of the prints available for sale. I'm surprised they didn't do their homework when taking these pictures or at least have them reviewed by a real car guy over the age of 40 to identify some of the stuff they have.
It is another example of the modern trend to just blather through things rather than do good research. Another reason young folks are finding it difficult to get the right information to avoid embarassing bar bets. HAHAAHA |

yeah, I was very disappointed to find ZERO info on the prints I was looking at. The orginal print I ordered was this one:
Only reason I picked this one was I had some help while I was shopping for prints and you can imagine my disappointment when they sent me THIS instead the 1st time:
