Help identifying steering column

Hello!
So, I would like to identify the steering column in my '57 Chevy Suburban, here is what I know:
The truck has a '77 Camaro front clip, with a 250ci engine; all stock interior apart from a '95 Chevy truck bench seat;
It is a tilt column, with ignition key and auto shifter on the right hand side;
on the left hand side, there is the signal stalk, chrome with a black (bakelite?) end;
on the right hand side, there is the usual GM 4-way flasher switch (push in the middle, pull on the outside);
The truck came with an ugly black plastic Chevy steering wheel, unknown origin;
I was able to mount a '56 Chevy car steering wheel with no issue, even the horn works!
The neutral safety switch for a '77 Camaro does not fit right;

The column has been painted the same gray colour as the dashboard.
Can anyone help me?
Is there an ID number somewhere?
Thanks!
Chris

Chris;
I think I have the same one in my '94 Silverado. check the neutral safety for a Silverado, Sierra, or Yukon 1992-1995 and see what you get.

Good Luck

Unfortunately, it sounds like every GM column built since 1969. Is the dimmer on the column or not? That will at least narrow it down.

No, the dimmer is not on the column.
The wiper/washer or cruise are not on the column either, by the way, so this could narrow it down a bit more?...

Sounds like 1969-1979(ish) GM. Hard to tell more without seeing it. I would have thought that all of those used the same neutral safety switch.
