Help Id'ing trans pump

Found an auction on ebay that was advertising a brand new GM 700 pump for sale. Looked more like a water pump and emailed the seller to enquire. Said it was new GM and has since re-worded the add. Is this really a trans pump? My curiosity is getting the best of me! LOL

Here is the auction, Thanks

I guess so!! At first sight, it reminded me of a 2.3 pinto water pump! (minus the shaft)
