Help installing residual valves

when installing resid. valves that have a directional arrow is it correct to have it pointing toward the wheel cyl or the master cyl? have it pointing toward the wheels but not acting right

Hi. Arrow points toward wheel cyl. As far as brake problems go there is a ton of info in the knowledge base.

feels like it may still have some air in the lines- 1st pump of petal is soft ,second is ok-wait a few minutes and try again and same result- it's a double chamber master w/ 7" booster- sound like air to you??
