Help with Interior work

Is there anyone out there that can please tell me the best type of material that should be used to attached carpet to the under side of my deck lid on my 56 chevy. Plywood is out of the question, to many sharp bends. I would like to cover the underside with foam and carpet and some buttons. What kind of material will make all the sharp bends and shapes. If anyone has pictures in the hotrodder journal please let me know soon. This is the last part of the project that will be done before the weather turns cold. PLEASE HELP.

I've never used this stuff personally so I'm only going by what others have said on this forum...but 1/8" or 1/16" PVC flat stock (comes in 4x8 sheets and is used a lot by sign makers) can be heated and bent to shape. Then your foam and upholstery would be glued on (or possibly button screws could be used).
