I have a richmond t10 that is knock, knock, knocking when it is in gear. It started when I left a stop sign slowly. I thought it was is the clutch (centerforce dual friction with low miles). I pulled everything apart and found the throw out bearing was miss aligned and the clutch fork clip had broke. I replaced all of that happily thinking that the problem was a cheap fix. After four weeks it's back together, I get home from work, give her a bath and it's time to go crusing. I don't even make it out of my culdasac (which consists of 5 houses). I'm now 90% sure it's my tranny (to my dismay ($$$$??)). Does anybody know trannys (especially Richmond T10s) well enough to have any idea what the problem may be? The tranny only has about 2000 miles on it in the last 2 years.
