I personally haven't done this, but I can use logic to help you out. A tempest is a gm A-body, like a chevelle. I'd assume you could buy small block chevelle motor mounts that would position the motor differently. I do know that all a-bodies share the same frame setup, but the motor mounts differ depending on what engine is in the car. There were Buick, Olds, Pontiac motors , chevy small blocks & Big blocks all installed in these cars. Hope this helps.

Try moving the radiator to the front of the support and using a short water pump.

My Tempest had a 326 in it but the Pontiac blocks have the motor mounts almost in the middle of the block, where the chevy is mor towar the front of the block. I have a set of Moroso solid mounts. I think where I am having my problem is with the frame mounts.

sorry, I meant that you need to replace the frame mounts with small block chevelle mounts.

Do the frame mounts have to be offset ones? I noticed on chevy frame mounts there are two holes in the top half and two holes in the bottom half. The Pontiac has two bolt holes in the top and one in the middle lower section. I noticed on E-Bay item Number 2450572323. Is this what I need?
