Help me adapt these air cleaners.

Howdy.

Im looking to put a set of one of these on the blown gremmie.

I think the 2 K&N's will work without mods, but will the 2 hilborn style ones work? The K&N's are 8 inch diameter and the hilborns are like 9.5 inch diameter.

I like the hilborn, but is the diameter to big? If so, I was told they make affordable adaptors that go on top of the carbs, but I dont see em???? Anyone have an idea? Tnx in advance. HG

Heres the 2 I like.

Go to a local machine shop and have an adapter custom made to fit what you want.Or show pics of underside with dimensions and dimensions of what you want to put it on and maybe I can make you one.

my $0.02 the K&N it is functional the top one is show, to large on the holes, well by the time you add some sort of filter I'd be thinking the may not be.

My guess is that top product has one of those foam type filters and with a huffer . I think it would, the foam not last too long and be in the motor.
