help me ID this car PLEASE
My Grandpa says this car is a '55 Ford Crown Victoria, but after looking at a few pics on the web it is clearly not... can anyone help me figure out what it really is?

1951 Ford.
 Looks to be a two door hardtop (No door post).

Frosco is right. 1951 has the flat top grille opening. Looks to be in fairly good shape for sitting. Could be a fun project.

Thanks for the help... yes I am seriously considering fixing this car up this summer since i pretty much finished up on my '64 Chevy over the winter and am driving it every day now. The coolest thing is it is already set up for a SBC and chevy auto tranny so i will be treading on some familiar territory in those areas. Thanks again!

jesus, get that thing out of there!!! Why do people do this to cars?! If I had a bunch of cars like that I would at least put up a cheap pavilion to keep big stuff off of them... old cars are a finite resource!!!!!!
