BoomerRang??

It went thu my mind that it was off of a boat too
Any one down under may say it's a BoomerRang
I was at flee market on the weekend and just couldn't leave it when I saw it only paid a song.
Even if it is a horseshow or a boomerang or whatever I've had my $5.00 of fun

The mistery ornament

Hey Guys
It's been Fun

Thanks for the great responce
I got to thank Cobalt327
I do believe he might be on the right track to where it may have come from
(aftermarket item JC Whittney) Not sure if it 's supposed to be a "repop" for ford, chev or some other manufacture? Or just something they made for general use.
But I do love some of the great Ideas that came out of this Thread
If you have any other good thoughts send them in .I'm sure everyone can use a Good Read

I was disappointed to see that they now show only 3 or 4 hood ornaments.

Point is, it's AFTERMARKET.

I've been away from the computer for a few days and I missed all of the fun. I'm glad to see that everyone on this thread has a sense of humor. But seriously I think it's after market or off of a boat like a couple of others have said. Never the less it sure was worth the five dollars that you paid for it. Now what to do with it? Well you could put it on the roof of an SUV maybe a tricked out Hummer or Land Rover. Tell every body that it's a TV antenna. Start a new trend put it on the trailing edge of the deck lid to a Japanese tuner car (high tech spoiler, does twice the job of the real big ones with only half the drag). Or the Klingon death spear would be cool. Just fasten it to the end of a piece of conduit. I especially liked the picture of it on the horse shoe stake. Thanks CQNRQY, that took a little bit of time to do and it was great to come home after an awful week of work to a good laugh.

Here are two pictures of a similar hood ornament. Supposedly off of a 1959 Dodge. They are on eBay
