Post help me identify my BLOCK!!!

ok, i have a bare 350 SBC, 2 bolt main. what do i use to determine any info i will need when buying parts for it, thanks

www.Mortec.com everything you should need should be there.The block # is on the bellhousing flange on the drivers side.Ex.3970010

Post the cast # (it's located on block behind left cyl. head) Or just tell the parts people the # and they should know what kit you need.

Go to mortec.com and look up suffix codes. It will tell you what year and what the engins came out of.

man this site is awsome, thanks for the quick replies! that link will be very helpful. the casting# is 3932388, so it is a 69, and what really sucks is, that they had a 4 bolt for that same casting, oh well, i guess 2 bolt is good enough for my application though.
