help me pick my cam!!!

Ok first off guys i need it to be a hydrolic cam, my stall converter will be a 2500 tci stall going in a 700r4 tranny from tci. anyways my compression will be 9.7:1 so roughly 10:1, my heads are 64cc chambered dart pro1 aluminum heads with 215cc ports and springs that will hanlde a .600 lift. my intake is a victor jr. and I will be running 1.6 ratio crane roller rockers. hei distributor from MSD. umm ohh and a 750cfm holley double pumper carb, everything new. my block is a 350 bored .030 over with flat top keithblack pistons, scat i beam rods and a scat 9000 350 crank. the block was 2 bolt but was line honed and fitted for splayed main caps. now I need a cam. i want it to be streetable however i want it to be able to rip the tires off if needed as i plan to throw slicks on and go to the stip sometimes with friends for fun. so basically a 50/50 street/ strip motor. gas mileage im not too concered about as i wont drive it everyday just on nice days. my gear ratio in my axle is a 4.30 and my tires are 26" tall. what you guys think on a cam for this motor???? if i left anything out please let me know. the vehicle will be a s10 pickup that weighs 2750 pounds...

Moved from trans/rear

I think this would be more prone to responses in the engine forum than in transmission/rearend.

I would go with Comp's Xtreme energy 284 i think it is? Whatever is a step above the 274. It should give you what you are looking for. I am running the 274 and it is STRONG!

my set up is close to yours, I went with the crower #211 cam, .518 lift (.550 with roller rockers)

massive power and raical idle, I love it.

yep....I would definetly recommend the comp cams XE284H for that combo That 430 gear sounds alittle steep to me though.
