hi i have tried over 1 hour to do this my self but i am so so now i am asking for help my eng # c72132982 then samped over it in larger # is v1108tyy dose this make any since to any one all i know it is a 350 4 bolt main but would like to know more about it thanks

TYY suffix is a 350 of 1975 vintage found in most trucks. Came with a 4bbl carb and made 165hp stock.

thank you do you think it can handle 600 hp i got it used it was in a 34 hot rod used for shows only the guy i got it from said it was built about 20 years ago kept it as a 350 and put a 671 blower and never had it tested so my ? is should i leave it as a 350 or will that block handle 383 kit with under hood roots type blower

If you have doubts about the condition of the block have it sonic tested. The machine shop will let you know if it is good.

+1. Time to take it down to the machine shop and see what you've got.
