a worked top end with a computer tune will give you quite a bit of horsepower...the LS architecture allows for some pretty big numbers....a lot of the hotrodders use the truck LS motors because they are iron blocks and can be punched out and stroked further but the LS-1 is a very very capable motor. head on over to www.ls1tech.com there are some boys over there that know their stuff

So what engine do you actually have? You posted earlier that you want to build a 500 hp inline six. Then you said you have a 350 laying around with domed pistons. Now you have a LS1?! Kid, you're either rich or your a big B.S.'er. Which is it?
