Thank you for the kind words. I would be the happiest man in the world if any of my safety Nazi advice were to save one person injury, but we will never know.
Flash back: march 1974, OF was Young Fart, crashed 73 Z/28.
Was in hospital 2 weeks.
Had semi private room, other bed was occupied by a guy whose name is now forgotten.
He had rigged up a hot water tank as a pressure storage tank for his home made compressed air system. ( which in itself can be safely done)
He had NO safety relief valve on the system. the pressure shut off switch failed and well you know the rest of the story.
He dam near lost both legs from the tank exploding.
From that 2 week stay in the hospital I learned and reaffirmed that safety comes first.
Both of us were lucky to be able to walk out of that place , thanks in part to the good doctors and the good Lord.
