Well I think its a few things now...first the generic primer,second my gun,I bumped the psi up to 60&it seemed to like that.Next I went&bought some primer from my local bobber&shot it on the cab of a 56 gmc we have after some lite body work&the paint came out nice&smooth on it.So cheapo primer is my guess
