Help with suicide door hinges

I'm lookig for any info on suicide hinges, what kind have you used, did you like the quality, how hard to install etc... any help would be great. Thanks, Dave

Are you interested in original external hinges, or the hidden hinge kits offered by many vendors ?

Speedway motors has a set that are easy to install and set up.

I'm interested in reusing the hinges on my present project car, if possible. It's a 1974 VW Beetle, with the usual exposed hinges. I'm ok at welding, and have access to a sheetmetal prototype shop. Any advice?
