Help with textured base coat

Hi quick question... I shot some dbc basecoat yesterday and noticed that the finish was slightly textured. I shot some parts last week (two doors and one fender) and the basecoat turned out pretty flat... but now I am worried that the base coat on the rest of the car will not look like the other parts... my question is: will the "textured look" in the base hide or be magnified under the clear? or should I wait and wet sand the base flat and re-shoot so it looks like the other parts I shot last week? If I do wet sand the base, what grit should I use and can I do it with dx-330 so it doesnt make a huge mess? thanks for your help (again ).

Anyone?

Also, wondering if I am even using my gun right... I am using a devilbiss finishline at about 30 psi at inlet and spraying about 8 inches away. I am shooting a deltron black with fine metallic and praying I don't get a bunch of tiger stripes!!
