Help with transition stripe
I currently have a 2 tone 69 firebird with a great paint scheme, however, the transition stripe doen't have a perfect edge. Should I airbrush, pinstripe, or tape and paint a thin line of a different color to cover the jagged edge?
Suggestions? any color recommendations? Here's a pic of my car.... http://firstgenfirebird.org/show/closeup.mv?CarID=642 |

Nice looking car Drew.
Is the paint BC/CC? Is there clear covering the transition? Is your "jagged edge" rough to the touch or sight? You can do any of your fixes if the edge is smooth to the touch. If it isn't it will have to be sanded down to keep the edge from showing through your stripe. I think orange or silver would be good choices for color. Mark |

Thanks! It is BC/CC and the stripe does not feel jagged to the touch as it is buried in clear.
I was thinking of using the same color blue as what's on the top of the car, or maybe an orange..... |
