To all the chevy GODS....for the same reason a guy wants to put a sbc on his kids go-kart. The same reason someone installs a sbc in a Fiero...the same reason someone puts a rat motor in a 64 nova or a 350 sbc in a vega. Because someone once said "I don't think it's possible"...that's why I want one done.
Besides, it will be a good topic when out at local show nights. |

Hey, it's your car....go for it. But it will be like driving a cement truck. Except all the weight will be in the front.
I'm getting a little less partial.....at least I didn't call it a "boat anchor" this time....lol.

I guess you see what kind of responses you will be putting up with when your project is done.
JUST to answer your questions. The swap could be done but you would need a custom oil pan...custom headers....custom motor plates....move this...move that....blah blah blah!!!! If you just have to have a hemi then maybe you should opt for the hemi head conversion for Big Chevies by Arias. The heads are pricey but still cheaper than the mopaaarrr route. |

Problem is, that "Hemi" is gonna cost a lot more than the BB Chevy.
