Hemi into 34 Ford?

I have a 34 Ford full fender 2 dr sedan w/ all original panels. I want to keep all metal panels stock including the firewall. I also want to build a streetrod with a hemi. Nothing radical, just a cruiser. Has anyone stuffed a hemi into a 34 without modifying the panels? If a 392 is too large would a 270 fit?

The Hemi will not fit without modifying the side hood panels. The Hemi is just too wide, plain and simple.

Small block is it i too have the dilema but the firewall has to be cut in a 31 and recessed deeply for a 302 sbf . Glad there a little more narrow the a sbc but both fit under the hood .

Guess that also leaves out a 401 Nailhead.

If it's just a cruiser... Perhaps a Hemi from the Toyata Crown of the Mid
60's..... 155 ci V-8 Hemi...couldn't begin to give you demensions..I've only
seen them on the web.
