Unhappy Henry J

i have a 1952 Henry J with a 1979 volare front clip and a ford 302 engine i am only getting partial power steering-- both the pump and steering gear box worked in there orginial cars--could it be a pressure problem if so --is there any fixes -- any help would be appreciated

Cool

What kind of steering pump are you using and which steering gear? The Ford pump puts out less pressure than a Chev or Dodge and would only give you max assist at highter RPM's.
