Here I am "stuck in the valley of the never do no good

2009 HHR
a week and a half ago the key wouldn't turn off. Got it to Chevy dealer who calmed to has changed the ing. switch.
Now a new problem, now the key want turn on. After some playing with the key, it did find ly turn and crank to get it home.
This vehicle is under warrant, but this is getting to be aggravating, What is going on. we're to take it back Monday to put it on a machine to find the problem. Any help welcomed

Sounds like a key in the lock type of issue. Maybe WD40 fix didn't work.
You know those little hills and valleys in there get confused sometimes.
Be happy they are trying to fix it.

Might need to buff the sharp edges off the new key. It's happended to me.
