Old Orig WWII P 51 P 38 Belly Tank Scta Salt Flat Flathead Racer WW2 Drop P38 | eBay

I had one of these up on the roof of my office at my shop, a real body though, from a flathead powered lakester!

Nice. They had an old So-Cal streamliner made out of one of these tucked into a corner at the Ford booth of SEMA last year. The suspension components looked rather dainty for it's intended purpose... I imagine it was a wild ride. Very cool find

There was one of those at a swap meet I attended recently. Can't recall the price but I don't think it was anywhere near THAT much!
