Hey all

Just acquired a 51 Chevy pickup I am looking to do some mods to, mainly lower it a bit from its normal truck stance, maybe a nova subframe, lowering blocks on the rear, anyone done this on this site??
Thanks for any info!

If you'd asked 'Has anybody NOT done this', the list would be shorter!
Welcome aboard.

I didn't realize this was such a big forum, but then again this is 2007 and Hot Rods are more popular than ever! So I was supposed to tell a bit about myself in my first post. Well here goes, I have been wrenchin' on stuff for the last 25 years, mostly motorcycles, a 68 merc cougar, several Harleys. I never had the big shop to do a nice old hot rod but have been wanting to forever! I now have a one car garage and its going to have to do for now. I did build a motorcycle from the ground up this year, took me about 4 months of long days and weekends but I got it done and have been riding it since I finished it. It started with a set of gas tanks from an old Harley shovelhead my uncle gave me, then ebay and swap meet parts, and fabricated several parts myself. Taught myself to MIG weld and finally bought a decent welder. So now I acquired this sweet 51 chevy pickup that I am wanting to do some custom work to, will post pics when I figure that out.
Glad to hear from some other chevy truck owners!!
