Hey Doc, Need clarification.

Back in one of my posts, you gave some great info for me to wire up my Alternator.

Lack of wiring under the hood..

I am finally at that point. You mentioned that I should remove the "Resistor" as the HEI dose not like it and will not function properly.

Clarification?
When I remove it do I just crimp and solder the the two ends together?

Doc,
Don't worry about it.
I search and found the answer.
I have finished wiring and started the 58 up and she sounds better than the day I got her.
Now all I need is new plug wires before I drop the new plugs in.

Yes, your procedure was correct, just splice the two together..

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, having 'puter problems here..

Anyway, Good to hear you got it running well , Fine JOB!
