Hey folks, I'm just a girl?????1948 chevy 3100 truck parts questions

Hi, just trying to get a bit educated. My dad purchased a piece of property that just has piles and piles of things from 1900-1950s. I am assisting him in identifying items of interest and selling them for him. It is going to be quite a job but it's gonna be fun and definitely educational. I'm a girl so I don't know much about cars except a little bit of 20 year old general mechanic knowledge. We are finding bits and pieces of some historical vehicles. I was hoping I might get some information on 1948 chevy 3100 truck. I was kind of hoping someone out there might have a decent picture or body schematic so I might correctly identify the parts that I have found. I know the hood is a 1948 chevy 3100, but I'm not sure if the fender is or some of the headlamps, lamp bezels, front grill, carbureter and other assorted trim and chrome pieces I've located in that area of the property. I would appreciate anybody's time to help educate me and quench my curiosity. Thanks. email address is ace101966@yahoo.co.uk. Later folks.

Hi ace101966. Sounds like you will be having fun. For some info you can go here and go to some of his links as well.

How come you listed your home as Brush, CO 80723, but your email address is in the United Kingdom? We answer all our questions on the board not personally.

Post some pictures of the parts you want to know about. You'll get lots of answers here.

1948 thru 1953 Chevy pickups (Chevy called them "Advanced Design") were pretty much all the same except for incidental differences. Headlights, fenders, grilles were all identical over those years. Here are some '48 photos;
