hey guys
im putting a 454 in my pickup where there was a smallblock i do have a balancing weight adapter to go begind the flywheel im just wondering if i can use a 350 flywheel with the adapter

Never heard of such a thing.........not saying there isnt such a thing
A 454 is externally balanced where as a 350 is internally balanced........You meed a 454 flywheel..........tell us more about this adapter thing.......

Sorry but No you cannot. Poncho is shooting you straight on this, The Crankshaft is a different size on the Big Block and it will not fit the small block. The center hole in the middle will be a different size and the bolt pattern will not be the same. JMO I think i know what you are talking about with the weight adapter though but still won't work. Got any pics of the adapter you speak of? And there are more then one flywheel for the 454 also. Cole |
