I had to go help out my cousin yesterday evening. Had to replace the alternator on his Honda...
Anyways my uncle has had for a loooong time now a nice '57 Chevy HT, and a true 70 LS6 Chevelle.
(He also had a sweet 66 Chevelle convert)
Well, we are walking out to the barn to work on the Honda and my Uncle has literally 6 '57 Chevy's sitting(hidden) in these barns, 3 Hardtops and 3 Convertibles...ton's and tons of parts also. I never thought that I would be related to someone that was a "Nope, can't sell it...gonna restore it" person
He does have a set of old Magnesium 5 spoke wheels that I have never seen before, I am going to try to see about getting them too.

well now this is a dilema, your driving home by yourself trying to absorb all this and you start thinking. do i suck up to him now and set myself up to be in his good graces, or will he see through that and see you as a shark circling and waiting for your chance.

or you could just play it cool and make a few passing comments about how "interested" you are in his collection and offer your undivided attention and support in maintaining his collection.
