Post Hey Willys36

I'm headed to a war protest in dallas to protest peace and hopefully raise a little mischief , and on the way is this great boneyard. what kind of chrysler stuff do I need to be on the lookout for for this distributor conversion?

I'll send you a scan of an article I wrote that had picutures and all the details. Basically look for a Chrylser 318, 340, 360 L-LA series engine at the junk yard along with the ignition module. Just make sure the shaft is tight in the housing and it will be as good as the $$$$ Mallory or Accel billet units. There are still a gazillion of those engines in the junk yards so they are cheap as dirt. You can then get an Crane distributor tunning kit (springs) and ajustable vacuum pot and tune the sucker to the tee.
