Hey Yall!

my name is Stephanie. I work for a hotrod shop in Mansfield TX. I freaking love my job. I get to meet awesome people all day long and talk about cars. I don’t know all there is about cars but I know enough to not look like a dumb dumb. my dad was a big hot-rodder man. Id play in the dirt with my lil hotrods while he would play on his big hot rods. haha, well its in my blood and now I have made a carrier out of my passion, not many ppl can say that so i know im extremely lucky and humble about it. if you would like to know more please don’t be afraid to ask!

ill leave yall with some info on the shop if yall live in TX, we get cars from all over the usa.

im just stealing this from our web site bc my spelling is horrible!!!!!

You need to read our rules pertaining to commercial advertiseing...you are advertiseing a business...that is against the rules. You have been reported to the moderators of this forum. Don't advertise your business. If you are affiliated with an automotive business, you may not post contact information for that business on public board posts, in your custom user title, or in your avatar. Business contact information includes, but is not limited to: physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs. Stating the name of your business is allowed, as long as the name of your business is not identical to any business contact information. If you are affiliated with an automotive business website, you may post that website's URL in your user profile page, and then you may refer people to your user profile page if your services are relevant to their question. For a more in-depth explanation of this policy, please see our business affiliation page.

re: Hey Yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the largest hot rodding site on the inter-net. You can talk about cars and hot rods all you want to....you just can't advertise or promote your business. We have lots of hot rod shop owners and professional rod builders on here and they have no problem with our rules.

I would say stay if she can not promote her shop..BUT I think she came here for advertisement purposes on here and may not really have a genuine love of all things Hot rod . I don't want to step on her toes but that how I feel when somebody posts the way she has. I mean to give after being told not to advertise kinda spells out her intentions anyway. After all rules are rules and they are there for a reason. JMO Tim

re: Hey Yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow....
well first off the reason why i get on forums is to ask questions about cars,(ill be the first one to say I am not a know it all) discuss things that are going on and yes talk about the shop bc we do so much and this shop is my life i **** you not!! i completely understand the no advertisement rule because it is bull**** when you get on a forum and all there are is adds. not a big fan. but if someone wants to talk about where they work i don’t see a problem in it!!! maybe we are all understanding each other wrong but i also don’t want to be on a forum that is so strict you cant have fun!

I don't think it is strict at all. I have a blast on here. You can too. Just ask questions ,answer questions and talk hot rods simple enough.
