Hey y'all

Back in high school I got a 1970 Firebird esprit 4 speed 400. It was the same age as me so we became attached. Rebuilt the motor, tranny new clutch and interior. 13 car pile up damaged the front and rear, put a hole in radiator. Being young and dumb... 3 melted pistons later with motor and tranny sitting on the driveway, mom complaining to move it. I sold the car. Regretted it ever since !!!

I just bought a 1973 firebird esprit 4 speed car. No motor, tranny, or fuel tank. Floor pans and trunk rusted. No doorpanels and lots other stuff to fix This is my midlife crisis project to get what i used to have Not going back original just want a fun hotrod i can play around in and be proud of. I figure if i dont do it now I wont have time or resources till the daughter is out of the house.

9 month old baby and VERY supportive wife to keep happy while I do this though.

I plan on trying alot of new stuff (to me). Like shaved door handles, Fuel cell and battery in trunk, Fiberglass console & dash panel, making door panels. Not to mention the body work since i was always a mechanical kinda guy.

Anyways thats me and my project.
