ive got a pretty potent 406 but unfortunately the compression is way to high 10.6-1 for the vehicle it is in. So im thinkin of putting my dart iron eagle 200cc 64 cc heads on a 350 vortec short block this should drop the compression back to where a stock vortec would be around 9.5-1 . the intake is a rpm airgap so the only problem im seein is cam choice i need alot of mid to low range power . its a heavy offroad truck heres a pik it has 4.56 gears and 42" tires with a built th350 reverse manual valve body and transbrake and way to much converter prolly drop the converter back to stock plus a couple hundred rpms
