I'm thinking about buying a Harbor Freight 20 ton shop press. It's listed in this month's HF flyer at $199.99. I'm not sure if I can use that 20% coupon on it since I cannot read the teenie weenie small print on the coupon but if I can that would bring it down to around $160.00.

I have a 6 ton a-frame press that I bought at Northern Tools a number of years ago and I have used it for several things but it's just too small for most stuff. Is a 20 ton big enough to be used for most applications? It looks small enough to not take up a great amount of space. The price is reasonable.

I have had one of those things for several years now and it is one of HF's better buys, dirt cheap for what it does and yes you can use the coupon. I don't know how they can sell that much hardware for that price but they do and it's a very handy addition to the shop, you won't even come close to beating that price anywhere! Mine has been pushed to the max a bunch of times and there are no signs of frame bending nor does the ram leak, overall it is a real bargain.

I've got an A/C Delco 20 ton which likely came from the same chinese sweat shop and I can say if you break it, you're not doing regular DIY stuff. I've put some serious loads on it in my business with no complaints from it. HF may be different, but from a 20 ton point, it's fine for me.
