We had one of those at the fiberglass shop, ain't too much can go wrong with a press...we wound up putting a better 20 ton jack, because the HF one drizzled out all it's juice, but it worked ok for the intermittant use we needed it for...

The fit was cheesy, and the table kinda wobbled around, and made any kind of precision setup an exercise in frustration, but we just made a set of wedges to hold the table steady, and it worked fine.

The cast press plates wound up being absolute trash, but those got replaced with some 1" American steel plates.

I have a Ramco 55 ton press (about the same as Carolina) for the price I couldn't beat it..It even says it's made in the USA.

That Sunex press in your links says it's made in the US, with the exception of the jack, if you got that, at least you can say you bought something made by americans.
