Hi Everyone!!!

Hey,

I've been lurking for quite a while. I am in the midsts of my first project; a '32 Ford Tudor Sedan. I am building the chassis and rear 4-link and just received the Deuce Customs body on 7/9/10.

The frame has a Kugel Komponents "Indy Style" front clip...meaning a pushrod IFS with inboard shocks. I Z'd the rear of the frame about 9" and pie cut the rails to lower the back; there's about 2" of rake left. Fully boxed JW's Rod Garage rails (nice and thick).

The body has been chopped a total of 4 1/2", shaved with suicide doors...No fenders. It is really an impressive piece of work...it was expensive, but well worth the money...i'm not a die hard "gotta have steel" guy...this will be durable and doesn't make me cut up an original car (more important in my opinion).

The plan is for a Big Block Hemi (426 or larger). I'm leaning toward the World Products aluminum block, aluminum heads, 8:71 BDS blower with fuel injection. Minimal polish. Yeah, it's gonna be an expensive mill...but i'll just have to wait and save the $$$...$$$$...$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I have a brand new Tremec T56 Magnum (picked up on 7/9/10) and a Currie 9". I'll be running 31X12 Cheater slicks.

Here's a link to my pics...CLICK

Now, I have a ton of questions....LOOK OUT!!!!!!!

Don

Thanks! Haven't purchased yet...I'm "analyzing" the cost still. If it's much more expensive than a Dart 540 BBC with same blower and injection, then I'll just go that route. I should be buying a block in the next week or so though. I need the block and pan to finish mocking up my chassis.
