Hi Folks

I'm just like many other folks that post on this site. I've had an interest in anything with an engine in it for as long as I can remember, and I learned most of what I know about cars and engines from working on my own vehicles since I was in high school.
I've been a certified welder most of my adult life and worked in industrial maintence for several years.
I currently own a 41' Ford 2 dr sedan with a 350/700r on an 84's10 chassis. I've done 95% of the work on the car so far except for some of the final body work, and it is finally, almost ready for paint.
I also just started a 51' Chevy 5 window and am about to install a clip on it.
I've been doing a lot of reading on this site and am impressed by all the knowledge to be gained.

Welcome to the site 41'srfun. I always loved those old 41 tudors. I think they were the most voluminous of all the fat fenders. Waiting to see some color on it. Good luck with the paint on your project.

I had a 51 five window a few years back with a 350/400 combo. Have you thought about a S10 frame for your pickup? There are several members building AD pickups, suburbans and panels on this site. Check out the Project Journals section of the site for the members builds. As well use the Knowledge Base and the search function for quick answers to your questions. Here are a few links I have collected over the years:
