Hi HRs.com I'm restoring a 64' Nova 2 door and I want some advice

The car has been non operational untill a few months ago when me and a friend basicly just did a quick fix. The car is in the shop right now getting the dents out. Heres a list of problems I've found doing a quick look at the car

Door hinges are rusted making it hell opening the doors
Paint Bubbles
Hard rubber everywhere (that was expected though after being out of action for about 1 and half decades)
Ripped interior

Keep in mind this was just a quick 20 min checkup.
Here are some quick snaps of the car currently.
I want to drop a 350 small block with a holley carb (Not sure yet). I also want to get rid of the drum breaks and put a mustang II front end (But I'm going to need sedgestions on where to get one for a reasonable price). I also want to get a newer 4-speed automatic.
Any advice is good advice for me right now.

Welcome! Looks like a solid start from the pictures! Looks pretty complete as well. You could do a mini subframe up front. Not sure how original you want to keep it looks wise. Can't wait to see the progress on this one as I have a soft spot for Novas. I had a 66 in Highschool. And now a 65 that I'm close to finishing. Only have the interior left and to put my glass back in! Well that and my stereo. good luck!

Welcome! I built a '63 and a '65 back in the seventies. They are light enough to run really well with a stout smallblock. My '63 H.T. received a nasty solid lifter 327 and 4-speed. That car went sideways more than straight... which brings me to a point.

The rear wheelwells are small, and you will need to plan for more room for bigger tires.

Good luck, and post pictures of the project. :-)
