hey, everyone i have a question about rearend gears, well i have a Chevy S10 and i'am putting a 301 engine in it for now, i was just wondering on what gears i should use in the rearend,, well something that will go pretty quick,, i might keep the 301 in it if it goes fast, and might add a turbo,, hopefully that helps

the 301 are known too break cranks with the turbo and non turbo.most s-10 trucks have half desent gears, check too see if there is still an option sheet still on the glove box door, and go too the nearest GM dealer and find out your rear end option or pull the rear end cover off and check the numbers on the crown gear
