hi from west tennessee

Hi this first post I have always live hot rod I have one a 81 Pontiac firebird with a 68 327 and I am looking to build one and can't make up my mind what I want thanks

I can't post pic because IM on here on a mobile phone and it won't let me.the 1978 is my fav year I want a Trans am some time but my nexted project I want a really hot rodded motor thanks

Mildly built 350 Chevy for now. I'm starting to put together a single turbo 5.3 Ls that I'm gonna swap in this summer.

I also had a 77 but I
sold it. I bought a 400 Pontiac for and sold it to and now IM thinking of some to build

Do you own the 81 currently? They are sweet cars. You could always swap the nose and tail and make it a 77-78, or any other year at that. I really like the split light front on the 79-81 though, i think it has a nice sleek look.

Yes I do have the 81 had alot of people try to talk me out of IM keeping it I like the headlights on the 79 to 81 but I want a true Trans am minds just a firebird and I want t-tops.

Mine's not a t/a either but i bought the fenders, spoiler, wheel flares and all the other parts to make it look like one. Then once i do the ls swap no one will ever know it wasn't a t/a anyway, plus it will be faster.
It doesn't bother me at all that it's not a real one.

Only thing I wish mind had is the t-top. my 327 sounds great it has flowmaster exhaust I have all the recipes on it it's been sitting from some time now and this spring and summer I hope work on it some

Yea putting in t-tops would require a ton of fab work.
