You don't need anything more than a standard pump, but if you're gonna do the high volume/pressure pump, then you're gonna need to open up the clearances on the main and rod bearings to sling enough oil onto the distributor gear to keep it lubed. The pump will require additional work from the gear to turn the pump and needs the extra lube.
There was a thread on here a while back where someone came up with a mod to the distributor housing also, to put additional oil on the gear. I'll see if I can find it.
