Post high temp paint or powder coating headders???

I have headders all ready to go on to my new built 396 big block, but someone told me that powder coating them might make them last longer and not turn blue? Does someone have any sugguestions???

Ceramic coat the headers and powder coat the rest of the exhaust system. See the closeup of my Willys on my photo album. The headers are 6 yrs old and the ceramic coating looks like new. Headers are too hot for powder coating but things cool off enough that th rest of the system does great with it. The black mufflers in the photo are powder coated semi-gloss black and are also like new after 6 years. Seems like they will last for ever!

These finishes are so much better than hi-temp paint it isn't even a contest.
