Highlights of Columbus Good Guys Trip

Well, my highlights anyway. Had a good trip, a couple of minor problems, but an adventure just the same. Weather at the shown on Fri and Sat was great.

#1 my co-pilot showning off for the camera

#2 Sam and Chip signing

#3 Not sure, but I think that is Jimmy Shine in the Pro's Pick area

#4 This 29 Roadster was a centerfold and cover of Street Rod builder a couple years ago. Was thrilled to see it in person and was able to talk to the owner (and son?) for a bit. Nice people.

#5 Rear engine Ford P/U. Truck was pretty cool, Toranado Transaxle

Got to chatting with Scott form Kar Kraft. They specialize in Ford Modular parts and engines. Being that I'm running a 4.6 modular, he invited me to park at his booth so that was the highlight of the trip. That was better than winning any award.

Great shots, Arrowhead! I can't get over how your T bucket looks like a BIG Hot Wheels car! I freaking love your engine work.

Thanks, it does seem to generate some interest. Ha Ha

The one thing that blew me away was the Pros Pick area. There had to be 500 cars there and everyone of them looked like a show winner. The caliber of craftsmanship and creativity was amazing.

This a small sample. Who knew even a 69 Buick wagon could look this good!
