Time is our biggest enemy.

Hey Troy, if you have a lot of unique never before published shots and as many war stories as you mast have, how about writing a book - "Me 'N Ed" - about your travels together? Ed is big nowadays with the rod subculture and not only would such a book make you a few shekels, it would give us fanatics some great insight to the man.

You know, I have considered doing just that. I have stated that very idea on here before. I have met many good people while traveling and have had some interesting experiences. Most of the famous builders that I've met and visited were very friendly and eager to discuss cars and building them, And eager to help the travelers if we were having any problems.

Ed lived on baloney sandwiches, unless someone came around with some pizza or some kind of carryout fast food. He would go for weeks at a time wearing the same levies, not washed.

No doubt Ed is getting bigger by the day! I love his stuff. Speaking of getting bigger, anyone notice all the Von Dutch T shirts all the teenie boppers are wearing? I have to see 2-3 a day. If its an opportune time, I always ask the girl what Von Dutch is (Actually, who). They always give me a perplexed look when I tell them he was an icon in the bike and hotrodding industry.

Wonder what he would think of the Discovery shows and the girls wearing his stuff without knowing what he did? My bet is that he would take up bowling!
