Post History of Hot Rods

Has anyone else caught the hour long History Channel "History of Hot Rods" feature? It was on the Automobiles with Edward Herman segment. Production date is 1998 so I'm sure it's been shown several time before but I just watched it the first time this morning. Have to say it wasn't totally terrible. In fact for a Hollywood production, it was pretty good.

Question

Nope. That sounds interesting though....

Is it a series? Or just a one time show?

I'll have to look for it. The History Channel is one of the few things left on tv that's worth watching.

I'll look out for it but won't hold my breath over here! the biography channel never even mentioned Elvis in their list of birthdays on the 8th!!
Discovery channel has had some good Bonneville coverage though.

Cool

Those were the days, outlaw car/rod owners terrizing the town. Clowds of tire smoke and the poor cops couldn't keep up with those criminal hot rodders! Then the $$$$ came along and it was cool to drive a hot car if you didn't show it was hot and show it off at Pebal Beach? Same things happing to Motor cycling. The $$$$$ show up cause its COOL to ride a custom bike and evrybodys happy. Now the OUTLAW RICERS have everybody flippin out cause they are Different, NOW!

Hey Willys, did ya miss me! not been too far away........just been lurkin & watchin.

Got the "come back to England blues" & now its below freezing so that don't help none.

On the subject of TV shows, just watched one on West Coast Choppers! that was pretty good compared with all the other dribble on the box.
